Well so a little birdie tells me the CAA have relented to serious pressure and will now certify Flug Werke 190s to fly in the UK skies, REJOICE!!!!! Taken long enough but at last, there might be one seen over here quite soon now 😉

RE: Flug Werke 190 in the UK
The CAA have never had a problem with any of the new build 190’s flying in the UK as long as they are properly certified and registered in Germany ( which they are ) the only problem they may have is when somebody tries to register one over here – and as they are classed as new build this should not be a problem as Flug Werke hold the design rights and all the correct certification documents.

Pity there ain’t an airworthy Typhoon to shoot them down. I wonder, Ashley, you know that cockpit thats inside the hangar, could I borrow it please? Not for me you understand, its for a friend or two of a friend…..

…well he was perched on the CAA(ish) side of things rather than the warbird side. Can’t wait myself, ever since seeing the pics of the first engine runs they did at Manching I’ve been hoping upon hopes that the CAA would relent and let one into the UK, maybe we will have one on the flightline for Legends this year 🙂

Cheers Tom,it’s good news if you ask me!Who is this ‘little bird’?I don’t mean to doubt your word Tom,but when you’ve heard as many aviation rumours as I have you end up being a bit of a sceptic!
