There are 2 DC-7ns (in flying condition) stored in Cordoba, Spain. I am quite sure that one of these (ex N90802)is ex BOAC. They are for sale, so maybe start a public action (like we in Holland did to get a DC-2 and a Constellation)to raise the money. BW Roger

Could not agree more with the idea of a ‘Super Seven’ at Duxford, or Wroughton ?. The ideal candidate is currently at Chandler, Arizona, N90804 is ex G-AOIF once used by BOAC. Hope the attached photos work, they are mostly at Chandler in 1997, the ‘Delta’ scheme is at Palmer Field, Alaska in 2000 being used as a fire bomber. N90251 is in storage at Fairbanks, Alaska. Here go the photos.

There is a complete DC-7C that has been languishing at Goodyear Airport in Goodyear, Arizona for quite some time. I think it last flew in the late eighties. It reportedly still has the complete passenger interior which makes it something of a rare bird I guess. A great candidate for preservation. Regards, Chad Veich.
