I never got the opportunity to meet Mike, but from the accounts given so far it shows a man dedicated to aviation preservation and is someone still missed those who had the chance.

It is quite ironic that he is mentioned in a thread because I have been thinking about the “Mike Twite” trophy for the last couple of weeks & wonder ed if it is still presented?
