[updated:LAST EDITED ON 18-11-02 AT 05:44Â PM (GMT)]As I have always prefered the multi engined WW2 bombers over the smaller single engined fighters, some “B” pics here. The aircraft are B-17G “Nine o’ Nine” at Nellis AFB, and the B25 of the DBAF at Texel. BW Roger

RE: Some bomber pics
I prefer it in the new livery, as it is in Dutch markings. I have some doubt however about the green/brown it is painted in. For me it is almost the perfect Mitchell (but when do they put a turret on top off it?), the most perfect one for me is the Spanish Airforce Mitchell in its great colours. BW Roger

RE: Some bomber pics
Hi Roger, thanks for the pics.I don’t know if I’m in a minority, but I think I preferred the Brabant Mitchell in those 2nd TAF D-Day colours as opposed to her present Dutch East Indies paint job.Does anyone know why she is/was always so smokey? She always seem to chuff alot more of the blue stuff than Grumpy.
