Strathallan Lancaster KB976

Doe’s anybody have any photos of KB976 while she was at Strathallan , also does anybody have any interior shots in the hangar of the Battle , Bolingbroke , Hurricane etc ???

I think it was just a case of not enough people through the doors , when I was at college I used to visit Strathallan Collection weekly and it never seemed to be busy , it had all the right ingredients , good collection , nice displays , some good Open Days , the Moth meeting and the Strathallan Aviation Society were always very helpful and knowledgable.
I wrote to Sir William Roberts about 6 years ago when I heard the rumour that the Lysander was going to Duxford for some work towards he Permit to Fly , I got a nice hand written reply back , doe’s anybody know if he is still around ????

You could try the Museum of Flight at East Fortune they got a few of the Strathallan aircraft so I wonder if they got some of the fleet pics also.

A question from me as well if anyone knows the answer.

I know it had to be money related but does anyone know how Strahallan actually split up or went under as the case may be. And given the current climate if the collection had still been together today would they still have had the same kind of problems.
