Here are the rest of the sequence I took at that time. I’d just come out from one of the hangers and wasn’t aware the Dove had a problem !Not a bad display that day if I remember correctly.

I thought she was XS509 Dave? I flew in XS509 in October 1992 and had the glorious job of ensuring some CCF cadets behaved themselves. One was the son of an extremely (still) annoying politician!

Nice to see some rote stuff for a change. Looks (from the angle of your shot of the Wessex at Boscombe Down) that you and I stood side by side at a Boscombe families day! Did you get a piccie of the splendid job the fireman at putting out the Dove ‘fire’?!
