What gender do you class aircraft as ?. I tend to call older prop driven stuff, both military and civilian as a ‘she’,as in “she’s a beauty” but modern jets I think of as a ‘he’ as in ‘ugly bl**dy thing, aint he”.
Is it because I’m
a. silly.
b. sentimental.
c. both.
d. should be certified.
Am I the only one ?
Cheers

RE: Is it a he or a she?
Definately ‘she’.
Beautiful to look at, lovely to handle, but bl00dy dangerous if you don’t treat her right… 😉

You can call them what you like, they won’t answer back 😉

RE: Is it a he or a she?
Its neither he or she for me, just “it”. I call them by the names e.g. Dc-4, Dc-7, Mustang and that’s how it works for me.
