Does Anybody have any pictures of this spitfire from the early seventys. As my father went to RAF Henlow in 1974-75 with a small crew from RAF Finningly to bring her back for display at the RAF Finningly Battle of Britain Displays.
This was one of the last things my father did before leaving the RAF, unfortunatley I was only about 10 at the time and did not get any photographs of the spitfire at that time.
Can anybody help.
Best Regards

RE: Spitfire Mk1a X4590 (PRF)
Dont have any personal piccies but did you know that Corgi are due (if not already done so !)to release a 1:32 scale model of X4590 (Model number is CGAA33901 if you want to order one. I have to say that as an owner of quite a few of the corgi range of aircraft, ranging from post war models through to the present, that the standard of detail is stunning.
ALso, go to Yahoo as your search engine and type in ‘Spitfire X4590’ and sit back and watch as its history unfolds
Happy searching
