Hello
Buccaneer ZU-NIP finally departed Kemble bound for BAE-Systems Warton earlier today (20th April) where the rest of the test schedule will be carried out prior to export.

Nice pictures – that helicopter is becoming the “Water Tower” of Kemble 😉

Whilst I applaud the effort required to get these Buccaneer’s airborne
and out to South Africa -it’s a pity that the U.K ‘stock’ of test and trials Buccaneer’s is being eroded to the stage where we have barely anything left to represent the sterling work carried out by the breed. As a further note the last Buccaneer at Marham is due to be scrapped on Wednesday this week – although not hugely significant it demonstrates the difficulties in any attempt to move a Buccaneer by road now.
