CAF P47 incident

A Thunderbolt of the CAF suffered gear collapse during an aborted take off at Sunsport Albuquerque on Thursday.
Pilot Doug Jeanes has minor burns but otherwise ok. Jug however did not fair so well, front end fire and main spar damage. More on this link

Relieved to hear the pilot isn’t badly hurt. Metal is repairable, lives aren’t.
