All,
Just read a posting on the Warbirds Resource Group forum which suggests that there ‘may’ (note the inverted commas) be a problem with these operating in the UK; the suggestion is that the CAA are reluctant to issue Permits to Fly.
Does anyone on here know any more, or is this just a scurrillous rumour which we can hopefully quash immediately?

There was an article a little while ago in Flypast regarding the replica machines. I seem to recall that the problem is more to do with the number of replicas being built, in that anything over a certain number then is regarded as a production run therefore has to meet with type approval etc and the obvious expense that this will entail. I will attempt to dig out the article over the weekend and post some more.
