B29 Non – military in UK

I have had a ‘debate’ with someone today regarding B29’s in the UK.
The question was, had a B29 ever flown in the UK in a non- military status, my answer was no.
I assumed that the Duxford example was handed from the US military to IWM,however this was not the real debate. It was suggested that a B29 had flown on the UK airshow circuit at some time as non – military, again i said that as far as i knew no.
Clarification please anyone.
Phil

The Duxford example was returned to airworthiness by a U.S company on behalf of the IWM and flew into the U.K as a British registered aircraft. She was perfectly airworthy – just she required a repaint which in no way affects her ability to fly. The hasn’t been a civil registered or operated B-29 on the air display scen in Europe
