Gloster Gladiator N5719 / G-CBHO

New on the civil register in December, can anyone add any details to the info provided in Flypast? If it is being restored to airworthy standards we could see a 3 ship formation…

it would make more sense to contract sombody like ajd or the folks who rebuilt the nimrod, surely? it would cut the time in half and ensure a good job

Depends how much cash you can throw at it Philo – it also helps if you have a company that’s well versed in engineering.

The ‘new’ Gladiator belongs to Retro Track & Air down in Gloucestershire. They are connected to the GAC who are co-ordinating
efforts to recover the remains of various Gladiator’s from the hills of Norway. So far they have been quite successful and it should result in a couple on public display in the U.K and indeed a machine in Norway.
The project with Retro is an airworthy machine.

Its either TFCs example or i heard of a wreck brought back fom Europe allthough i doubt its that one.
