Two fishermen were out in the bay one day, they’d been out for hours when they realised that the tide had taken them right out to sea, a big storm was whipping up so they decided to head back in.
After several attempts to get the engine going they realised that they were in trouble, so they got on the radio.
“Maydey, Maydey dis issa liddle idali, we needa you helpa, pleese come”.
The message was heard by a passing Fokker Friendship who replied to the call.
“Little Italy, Little Italy, this is Fokker Friendship F-27, give us your location please”.
No reply two minutes later the call came again.
“Maydey, Maydey dis issa liddle idali, we needa you help, pleesa come”.
So the pilot again radioed for the location.
“Little Italy, Little Italy, this is Fokker Friendship F-27, give us your location and we will send help”.
Still no reply, so the pilot tries again.
“Little Italy, Little Italy, this is Fokker Friendship…”
Just then the radio spoke.
“Listen mistah, Fokker you Friendship, we needa da help!
Boom tisch!

RE: Joke of the day
The only one I can think of relates to the flight code for Ryanair, FR = F**king Rubbish. I’ve known a few travel agents to use that one…

RE: Joke of the day
When I was in Brugge last year, someone tried to tell me the Sabena one, but they only knew the “Never Again” bit, that’s the first time I’ve seen it in its entirety.
I have one too, though it’s a bit poor, I’m not good at thinking those sort of things up.
VLM = “Very Loud Machines” – owing to the fact that they fly the Fokker 50, which is a bit noisier than the other airliners I’ve flown in recently.
Sabena, you’ll need a sense of humour to enjoy this forum to the full.:-)

RE: Joke of the day
Its just a joke…no need to take it so seriously! See it from an other angle…other airlines have worst ones.

RE: Joke of the day
Not very nice thing to say about Sabena. Your fellow Belgian does not like your interpretation of the name.
