Well chaps, winter is on us, we all have had our belly full of turkey and are on the 10th day of leftovers (curry methinx!). We have probably all broken our 4th or 5th new years resolutions. So what are we doing other than that? How are we keeping off those winter blues? Are you dreaming of the new airshow season? are you doing a rebuild? are you touring what few museums are open in the ‘off season’? are you finally cataloguing those aircraft photos or are you building a favourite kit?
Just for fun….what are our ‘readers’ doing?! It would be nice if some restorers could whet our appetites over projects!
For starters, I am working on our display for the excellent Newark Cockpit Festival (excellently sponsored by Flypast). A few of us Cockpit nutters are planning a 20th Anniversary Falklands display that will see old adversaries on display. So over to y’all!!

As for me, having built 2 kits in 4 months I’ve got a Stuka and a MIG23 built in a couple of evenings, waiting for final paint work.

I have been trying to work my new camera. That and backing up my files for the impending formatting of my hard drive 🙁 Apart from that I’m throwing yet more cash at bike in the hope it will work for a few more weeks.
As far as the website goes a major update should be coming soon.

i spent all the holiday on the net doing very little homework (doing loads to night). i’m possible thinking of putting up a small aviation web site on the net but now i’m back at school it will be a level maths non stop (till half term – 4 1/2 weeks to go 😀 ).

As for me, I’m going to finish my Mosquito (hopefully before the wife divorces me- mental cruelty & upsetting the kitchen to many times with aircraft bits!!!). I’ve only been building 3 years in April!

Well amongst other things, i am trying to get all of my photo archives in order , scanned , catalogued and burnt to CD. With about 10,000 slides alone this is quite a daunting task, however i am determined to crack it, after all i only have a full time marketing job, a wife and two children to serve!!!.
On top of this i am aiming to launch a web site containing some of the aforementioned pictures, the aim being to convince someone that i would be better placed being an aviation photographer.
In my spare time i will try and get to some of the museums that i have not seen for some years.
Oh and i’m going to try and extend my house this year as well !!
