Hi,
I would like any lightning pics or stories that I could use on my new lightning website.
BTW I saw a C-17 fly over my house last night on a flightpath that the E3s usually take so I guess it was goin to Waddington.

Got some profiles you can use (Mostly early Coltishall aircraft , I’m still doing the big finned aircraft from the F3 at the minute (patchwork masters attached)). PM if you want any specific aircraft.

I also have a section on my website dedicated to the Lightning located here:

If anyone would like to help me fill the gaps in the production and preserved lists it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance
Dave

I have some high quality digital shots of Lightnings that are preserved in museums around the UK, What I do have that may interest you are some excellent cockpit shots of the F.6, F.53, F1 and also the very first P.1A.
The shots are generally 1.4MB to 2MB in size, Please PM me with any questions as I have around 2000+ Lightning photo’s and would be very honoured if they are used. 🙂
Regards
John

Lightning photos
Hi there,
I have some 30 odd Lightning photos taken between 1967, and 1986, from Coltishall, and Binbrook. Some B + W, most in colour.
If I can scan them in, and send them, you can use them. I would appreciate my name on them though.
Regards,
Alan.
