Mig-23ML vs Mirage F1C

How do these two types of aircraft compare ?
In air to air missiles , avionics, performance, cost , design features etc
They were operational in roughly the same time period so can be considered likely adversaries

both came out near the beginning of the 4th gen era, but Mirage every time.

Mirage is better day fighter. MiG better in a joust; advantage at head-on engagement as it missile would impact first by a safe margin. Toss up in poor visibility conditions.
