Pink Typhoons

Hello ModMils.

Where I live the sky is filled with F15s. Most people here don’t even look up as they thunder overhead. I still do.

So yesterday I was coming out from the dry cleaners and I hear jet noise, look up, and see what I’m pretty certain was a Typhoon (The jet kind, not the real one) climbing out of RAF Lakenheath. The thing is, I have no idea if it was a trick of the light or not, but to me it looked the sort of colour that I have seen on Gulf War survivor RAF aircraft in the past.

Was I seeing things, or are we painting up the Typhoon for Middle East use?

A second departed a minute or so later and appeared the same colour (to me)
