Atlas Carver and Tejas

googling around, I found this random image of a cancelled project from south Africa called the Atlas Carver.
Somebody made a bad CG of it, but it nevertheless seems to represent the basic lay out

the planform seems to be exactly like the Tejas. Wikipedia says that no one’s seen the final shape of the Carver, despite the design being finalized, but that it resembled the mirage series.
not too surprisingly the Tejas also seems to resembled it.

Abovetopsecret or something like that, said after Atlas cancelled it, some of the plans and members went to HAL, leading to a very similar design yes?
