Exercise names and their meaning

Hi,

I’m carrying out some research into the Gloster Javelin. Routine training flights included a number of regular exercises under the names of Bomex, Ciano and Kingpin Adex.

I know Bomex was practise interceptions against simulated bomber attacks by the V Force, but does anyone know what the objective of Ciano and Kingpin Adex were?
