Could a modern day jet aeroplane be out of wood ?

I have been checking different laminated ( compreg ) products and to me seems like the 1400-1500 kg/m3 laminates might be good for Mach 2 speeds.

If wood is normally 400-600 kg/m3 then this laminate is much much stronger.

There seems to be a problem; the press needed for this kinda woods have to be enermous.

Also you need to impregnate the wood and heat it up.

Is it too arduous to do it ?
