how the ALE-50, AN/ALE-55 ,TRD , ALE-70 work ? i mean the main principal , are they more like a mini jammer outside the aircraft (like MALD-J without an engine )or are they more like an extended antenna that connect to the aircraft ECM pod ? are they transmit in all directions or just backward ? , can they do noise jamming ? , what is a TWT tube ?
