Good chance by the end of the year, the Russian flag will be flying over Eastern Ukraine and Western Ukraine will have to accept the Russian speaking regions will secede.
but this allows them to cut clean with Russia.
however their AF is almost totally Russki
and I doubt Russia will be so open with spares
so what would Ukraine do? phase out the Russian types?
ask China for spare parts help?
reverse engineer?
completely replace them with a non-Russian type?
