F-5E jet fuel?

Sorry for the strange question but what type of jet fuel did F-5Es use? The reason I’m asking is because back in the mid-1970’s a certain air force faced delays in getting its newly delivered F-5Es up and running because the fuel used by the F-5Es were different than that used by its Avon Sabres which the F-5Es were intended to replace.
