Thanks for the heads-up regarding the Hurricane…will certainly add a nice touch to the airshow to see a representation of a Rochford based Hurricane back in the skies over the airport…As a Southend lad, I will certainly be there on Sunday to see this for myself, although I am opting for the Airport open day this year.

Hardly surprised at the lack of interest from the Evening Echo…they wouldn’t know a newsworthy story if it smacked em in the face!! I think that the most interesting headline I’ve ever seen on the front page of their rag was probably along the lines of; “Firemen Rush To Chip Pan Blaze”….or that sort of thing;)

Anyway, great news about the Hurricane…All I need to do now is convince the BBMF to paint up the baby Spit in Al Deere’s KL-B “Kiwi” markings and get that down to Rochford too…Ahhh, if only!
