It turns out EADS owns 46% of Dassault.
This means that regardless of whether Eurofighter or Rafale wins a sale, EADS makes money.
Also as the French government owns a 12% stake in EADS, that means they get something out of Eurofighter sales.
EADS also owns 46% of Eurofighter.
And it seems at least one of the world’s investment funds views Dassault as a poor investment choice.
