Just out of curiosity, when are last Eurofighters and Rafales due to be delivered to primary users (i.e. Germany, Italy, France and Spain)?
Last I checked following had been delivered:
Italy: 64 Eurofighter out of 96 ordered
Germany: 100 Eurofighter out of 140
United Kingdom: 100 Eurofighter out of 160 ordered.
Spain: 45 delivered out of 73 order (1 lost) – 15 Tranche 3A aircraft on order delayed to 2015.
France: At least 115 Rafales out of 180 ordered (5 lost). I think a total of at least 137 have been built though (C137 was first with AESA).
Given French commitment to 225 combat aircraft fleet, I expect another order for 50 (includes 5 attrition replacement).
Also with 225 combat fleet, what’s the split between Armee de’l Air and Aeronavale?
I’ve read that 58 Rafales have been ordered for Navy (4 lost).
I’m curious as any delays to future orders by India, UAE, Kuwait and Qatar could result in production line closures especially for Rafale as Eurofighter is chugging along to 2017 with Saudi and Omani orders.
