Best resource for current aircraft inventories?

So, I’m re-igniting my long-standing interest in military aircraft as I’ve let it wane in recent years – life’s too short and all that, so I guess learning about whatever it is that interests you makes sense…

So first order of the day I’ve decided is to get an updated overall sense of where the various Air Forces of today are standing with regards to their current operational aircraft inventories.

I’m interested in hearing your ideas on the most up-to-date and accurate sources of info on inventories would be? I’m used to scanning Wikipedia which we all know has many an article on aircraft inventories, however I’m sure I’m not the only one with a slight reservation about relying too heavily on Wikipedia.

I also came across an interesting report online titled “World Air Forces 2011/2012” which I’ve only scanned at this point but it looks like some pretty decent info.

I’ve already noticed some pretty wide disparities between numbers in this WAF report vs those found on Wikipedia – for example Russian aircraft, the WAF Report shows 45 operational TU-95 Bears’ whereas Wikipedia cites a figure of 63 made up of two variants.

So, if any of you guys have any other trusted sources you know that might be resourceful to me in my quest – I’d appreciate it!
