Undoubtebly the most prolific SAM up to this point in time, with all of the talk of the newer S-300/400 and PAC-3 systems as well as other modern self-propelled types, it’s hard to believe the SA-2 series is still around.
My question is…..just how prolific is it still? I would presume that China is manufacturing some new variant given how they seem to breathe life into countless Soviet/Russian products…
What about the Russian’s themselves? Have they been completely retired?
