Call it a “what if” or a “fanatics ‘r’ us” thread if you like:
Does anyone believe that projects in the US and Russia that have been ‘canceled’ may be in service in small numbers for ‘Black Op’s’ type missions?
For example, the single seat Ka-50. The Ka-52 and Mi-28N are set to be the new attack helicopters of the Russian armed forces, however small numbers of Ka-50…presumably the ones already built…are to be in put into service in support of special forces.
Is it not possible that the ‘canceled’ RAH-66 Comanche may have been put into service in two’s or three’s with secretive branches of the US armed forces. After all, given the unknown UH-60 variant that crashed in Afghan during the Osama raid only came to public knowledge after pics were taken and slapped on the net, it is clear that we don’t know everything.
Even the F-117 has reportedly been seen still buzzing around…maybe so the US can hit a target and say “we didn’t do it”…
Or am I just being annoying here??? 🙂
