Apologies if this has been raised elsewhere, but last week the media reported a large hike in the cost of the two British Carriers being built because of a possible change in the aircraft operating off them.
This change has obviously happened between odering the carriers and sometime recently and has put the cost up from 5 to 7 Billion, if the sources can be trusted, as far as I was aware the Navy were just going to operate F-35s of these ships.
Can someone elaborate as to what the changes are?
