Brazil begins to receive the EC-725

Brazil began to claim their first Super Cougar EC-725’s
consortium Helibras / Eurocopter-EADS. In a ceremony attended presidente Lula held on the last day
20/12 14:30 at the Brasilia Air Base were given EC-725 3. The
Agreement provides for the delivery of 50 helicopters from 2012 will be
manufactured in the factory Helibras Itajubá the state of Minas Gerais.
These March 1 Super Cougar EC-725 was manufactured in France.
The 50 helicopters will be divided among the three forces of Brazil, 16 to
FAB (Força Aérea Brasileira), 16 for Navy (Marinha de Guerra do Brasil), 16 for Aviation
Army (Aviação do Exército) and two for presidential transport. Deliveries are scheduled
to end in 2016.

This project will cost € 1.847 billion Euros and Brazil could sell
Super Cougar for future sulamaricanos countries from the manufactures of
Helibras.
