I know that the RAAF placed an order for 24 F/A-18F’s and the first 5 have arrived here, but I was searching for something else when I came across a website that had some interesting info- see below:
The part I refer to is the caption under the last pic which reads:
“The jets are new arrivals in Australia after the RAAF signed a huge AU$ 6 billion contract with Boeing in 2007 for 24 jets initially, followed by a further 19 to be delivered in a later phase“
When did the contract specify an additional 19? Can anyone clear this up for me please.
