Looking at the types and dates of aircraft of Iraq, and I have some questions:
AFAIK Iraq used the MiG-23MS (40 delivered in 1970s), MiG-23MLA (unsure of how many entered service, in combat 1984) and MiG-23BN.
Did they ever use the MiG-23MF?
They used Su-7BMK, Su-20 (including some recon Su-20R), Su-22M [Fitter J] and Su-22M4 [Fitter K].
Did they use any recon versions of the Su-22M and/or Su-22M4?
Did they ever use the Su-22 [Fitter F] or Su-22M3 [Fitter J]? – I’ve searched and found no photo evidence for either version.
