Lots of activity today

There was a lot of RAF activity up in the Lake District today, was there some training exercise on?

In the space of an hour I saw 2-4 Tucs, a Hawk, a fully loaded GR4 and what may have been a Sentinel (only saw the back of it, couldn’t see if the radar bulge was there). There was also an AW139, but it was in civvie colours.

Oh and the GR4 pilot was nice enough to come in on a fast and low pass over Windermere which made for some good views (although he did nearly make me fall out of the boat I was sat in since he came from behind at high speed).
