Anyone have any info or pics of fixed gear CH/HH-3E Jolly Green Giants? I believe that only the Alaskan Air Command.As I understand it,the fixed gear models were used mainly as transports to supply radar sites. Did any other units use this model? Also what was the eason behind the fixed gear? prevention of freezing in the retracted position maybe?
