When the F-15sg replaced the A-4 skyhawks of the Royal Singapore Airforce , one would assume this was overkill to replace a light attack jet with something so powerful and deadly (Amx, hawk 200 , a/T-50 would have been more appropriate) but was this a ruse by the singapore goverment to get essentially a multirole air superiority fighter and leave the F-16s to perform secondary roles in the style of the current usaf?
