Anyway, this could be very confusing for the bad guys’ radars and EW suites. Also, an AAM fired on asuch a MALD using home-on -jamm guidancey can be, in the end, more expensive than the expandable MALD-J.

The range is ~ 500 Nmiles, which means that such a device could “escort” a 600 Nmiles radius fighter from the moment it enters in the hostile space until it exits.
