F-10 vs Gripen NG

As mentioned in the Pakistan thread Pakistan has ordered 36 J-10:

http://www.ft.com/cms/s/0/c42d66b0-cdd0-11de-95e7-00144feabdc0,dwp_uuid=9c33700c-4c86-11da-89df-0000779e2340.html?nclick_check=1

And India may get Gripen NG…

So, how do those two compare? Any thoughts?

My guess:

The Selex Vixen will outclass the Selex Gripo 🙂 Also the rest of the Gripen avionics will most likely be stronger than the J-10. Gripen will have lower RCS and IR signature.

And also importantly, the Gripen missiles will most likely have a slightly higher Pk. AFAIK PL-8 is more or less the Python 3, and PL-12 is said to be “slightly inferior to AIM-120C”.
