BAe Hawks for Norway… 1980's!

Hello all there,

perhaps a strange question but I would like to know if some one here has any information about a request by the Royal Norwegian Air Force in late 1980’s (or perhaps early 90’s) for a small number of BAe Hawk trainers? I am sure that this was a serious option and evan published some were? Can any one provide further information?
