Tiled AESA?

I’ve heard that the APG-63v3 and Northrop Grumman SABR use some sort of tiled t/r modules as opposed to the bricks or stick t/r’s that you normally see. I’ve attached a couple of picture to show you what I mean:

How come the antennas on the first two appear to be flat? Is this the shape of the T/R modules, or just the antennas?

Do these radars still use the stick shaped t/r modules like this one:
