Detected on airband on 27th cleared from FL 110 to FL 600, callsign DRAGON 11 U-2.Climb delayed due to abnormal indications. I would say it was out of Fairford for destination unknown. On the 29th U-2 callsign DRAGON 55 climbing from FL 110 to FL 600, pilot experianced severe fogging and iceing in the cockpit. His words ‘Its pissing snow in the cockpit, I’ve never experianced enything like this before. Even my visor is fogging over’ He sounded quite stressed for a bit. But regained his calm and flew up to FL 670, called level at that height and with every thing back in the green. Today I was in Cheltenham and heard a jet overhead. Looked up to see a U-2 against the blue sky at about 10,000 heading north. It could be heard for a long time as it climbed away. Intense U-2 OPS or just aircraft transiting through Fairford?
