Cheap air forces: surplus military aircraft

Many countries do not have the funds to procure new military aircraft and opt for second hand equipment instead. I’d like to get a better picture of the surplus military aircraft market and to find more information about sellers and buyers, asked prices, actual prices and available stocks.

My interest in the topic was aroused by an official list of surplus Ukrainian arms, including a massive arsenal of military aircraft ranging from AN-2s to Il-76s, MiG-21s to MiG-29s and Su-24s to Tu-95s.

Anyone seen similar lists for other countries, details of contracts, recent deals invoving surplus aircraft?

The prices in the list are either in 1000s of Ukrainian currency (going at a rate of about 5 in 1 USD at the time the document was published) or in USD, I am not sure. If they are in Ukrainian currency (Hrvniyas) they seem to be very low… (Like MiG-29s for around USD400 000 a piece)
