RAF want to sell T3 Typhoon to Oman

The UK press is stating that the UK MoD is talking to Oman about selling 24 of its T3 Typhonns. This appears to be a win win for the MoD as they avoid cancellation penalties fro reducing their order and saves them money by not having to pay for the planes, maybe even a profitr with a support package. This appears to be a follow on from earlier talks regarding selling Oman some of the T1 airframes. As usual the Mod won’t comment but what do people think?
