Brooklands already has a VC10, (ie the Omani jet) so just be thankfull that they took it on!

I have no clues as to its final use, given the state of the airframe. But at least something survived. It could have gone straight to the smelter….

I only hope when the OS Date for the RAF examples comes up, that they will save some.

The K.4s were ex BA and could have a cosmetic make over, I have been up in one this year, so they would only need to locate the remaining seating for the rear end.
