I’d suggest looking/posting on Fighter Control forum.

Its luck of the draw to be honest as it is with any military base. You do get weekend visitors and you can never tell what will turn up. Johns field is an excellent place to watch any action from.

I live fairly close and very little seems to be airborne over the weekends. I do hear large transports occasionally on a Sunday, as you say, but not often. I don’t think Mildenhall is due to close just yet – I believe the USAF have said they will be gone by 2022 but I assume it will be a gradual wind-down. I don’t know if there are any regular scheduled movements, but somebody must know that! Maybe there is a spotters Facebook page? I see occasional KC-10s and C-17s but haven’t seen a C-5 for a while. Ospreys and Hercs fairly often, KC-135 regularly of course, with a AWACS from time to time. Civilian airliners sometimes. And Lakenheath’s Eagles, with added Raptor recently!
Hope someone can be of more help to you.
