MH-3E Variant Information Anyone

I have recently come across a reference to a ‘MH-3E’ version of the familiar Jolly Green Giant CSAR helo referred to as a spec ops version of the HH-3E. I wondered if anyone had additional information about this variant and how it differs from the vanilla HH-3? I am not sure if it is just a case of some HH-3 airframes being transferred to Spec Ops Command or whether they were modified in some way for a new role.
