N-G launches new tanker PR salvo.

Here’s an interesting Blog from the aerospace writer from the Seattle Post -Intelligencer.

It seems N-G has launched a PR effort to try to win the hearts and minds of Congress and incoming administration. This despite the “cooling off” period sought by SEDEF Gates and in the face of the conventional wisdom (and how often has that been right in this sorry saga? :D) that a pro-Labor Obama administration (not to mention an economy that has only gotten worse since the re-do was announced) will help Boeing in the deferred selection process.

He also quotes a Wall Street Journal piece and N-G press releases.

ADDED: It was just announced that Gates will remain as SECDEF for at least one year of the Obama administration. Maybe it wasn’t a wise move by N-G to tick him off. 🙂
