Apologies if this is posted in the wrong area…
3 Regiment Army Air Corps at Wattisham Airfield yesterday hosted a small number of aviation groups. This well organised and thought out event provided access to most of the hangars, ATC and B Flight of 22 Sqn Royal Air Force.
Our hosts from 662 Sqn cannot be praised enough for their openess and good humour, with some startling Operation HERRICK facts and figures discretely discussed – needless to say they’re not going to be repeated.
Sorry if some of the images are alike but the opportunity to photograph Apaches on their home airfield, and in decent light, doesn’t come along too often!

A sincere thank you to Lt Trayhurn and SSgt Wharmby for all their help, hospitality and patience.
