The EuroFighter Typhoon

It’s a mean machine!

Recently at RAF Lossiemouth where the Tornado GR4’s are based there has been a lot of Typhoons landing and taking part in the exercises , also the GR4’s will be replaced by the Typhoon eventually !!

I’ve always found the Typhoon a powerful machine, and when I’ve seen it fly at Farnborough International Airshow that did an amazing display, as the clouds where at a high altitude, ATC let the pilot do the Vertical Take off.

What is it about the Typhoon that gives you a good feeling? !!

I’m sure they are based at RAF Coningsby, Am I correct?
